Good Saturday

Yesterday, we went to our ward's Easter breakfast and Easter egg hunt. The activities committee in our ward rocks, so there was great food, a wonderful program, and our friend Kimberly sang a beautiful solo. After stuffing ourselves with breakfast, the kids went on the Easter egg hunt (i.e. insane candy grab). It was done in 15 seconds. But the kids all liked it. Some kids didn't end up getting any candy out of it, while other kids got close to ten pieces. I was very impressed as the kids (4- to 7-year-olds) redistributed candy to each other so that no one was left out. Colin reported to us that his friend Aubrey had shared candy with him. Thanks, Aubrey, for saving our morning! Ian got a few pieces by himself. The kids were excited to display their loot.
