Spur of the Moment--Day 2

We started off the day with another trip to the pool. After that, we went north to Tettegouche State Park to look at more waterfalls. Colin and Ian enjoyed the stairs on the path down to the falls.

They also enjoyed throwing rocks and making ripples in the water. They were particularly amazed when Brett demonstrated how to skip rocks.

On the way back up the stairs, Ian had a bit more trouble, because some of the steps were quite high. It didn't matter to him, though, because he and Colin were having too much fun counting the number of steps on each set of stairs.

On the way back home, we stopped in Duluth to dip our toes in Lake Superior. It was freezing outside, and the wind was blowing like crazy, so there was no photo op.

Overall, it was a short trip, but we packed in lots of fun.
