Ever since our family's bout with the flu several months ago, Evan has pretty much been sick with one cold or another. At times, the coughing was so bad that he had trouble breathing. Even with all of the various medicines and nebulizer treatments, it has only been in the last couple of days that Evan has finally stopped coughing. Because he was sick for so long, it was really difficult for him to get the hang of eating solids. Anytime I put a spoonful of food in his mouth, no matter the consistency, he would gag and cough it out. This probably wouldn't have been so much of a problem if he had started on solids before he got sick, but he was way too young back then in November (only 3 months old). But he has finally figured it all out now.

Evan has started on solids!

Now if we could only just get him to eat his vegetables as voraciously as he eats his fruit!

Good job Evan!!!!
Yeah! What a cute picture!
As usual, the boys are real stars, and it's startling to see how much older Evan looks. He's gorgeous, and his eyes are killers! Good to see the blog back in action, Necia, and skillful use of puns!
