Drum Roll, Please

Brett got new drums for Christmas! Those of you who know Brett know that this is a big deal. He had been waiting for years to get a drum set that he could keep in our house, and lucky for him, we finally have a great place to put it. Lucky for me, it's out of the way, in our basement, where it's not too loud!

When deciding what kind of drums to get, Brett really wanted to get a smaller-scale drum set so the kids could play on it. After a lot of research, he was able to find the perfect one! Now Brett and the boys regularly have some awesome jam sessions in our basement. Here is Colin, showing how it's done.

Colin and Ian had banged on Brett's other drums before, but they had never had the opportunity to learn how to play them properly. (The drums were too big.) Now that they have a better-sized kit, they can finally begin to learn. Here is a video of Colin and Ian playing the drums for the first time after a mere 10 minutes of lessons.
